How much does your service cost?We have been in business in New Jersey since 2005 and much of our work is for existing clients who appreciate our service and find more tasks for us! We also receive a large amount of word-of-mouth referrals from our satisfied customers. As a result, we have not done much print advertising.
What are your payment terms?Our clients appreciate receiving a solid quote for their requested services. This is why it's so important for us to meet with you in person and discuss your needs. The consultation is free and includes a written estimate. If you would like to get just an idea of the cost of your particular task, we will be happy to speak to you by phone. Or, you can provide us with details using our “Quick Quote” online form.
Is there a minimum service charge for a Task Man appointment?Payment is due upon completion of the project. We accept cash or personal check.
Do you give free estimates?As there is no task too small, we happily take appointments for work that will require less than one hour to complete. However, we do require a minimum service charge of $75 ( not including materials or sales tax). If you think that you might need our services on a regular basis -- for example once a month for just an hour or maybe more -- we invite you to consider our Task List Program.
Are you insured?We certainly do! It doesn’t matter if you only have one hour of work for us or several tasks that could take many hours or days to complete. It's important for us to meet with you to discuss your needs and we hope that you feel the same way. We want to get the job done right.
Are you a licensed professional?Yes, we carry one million dollars of general liability insurance. We invite to check us out by requesting a certificate of insurance through our agent.
How quickly can you get here?Yes. Our New Jersey contractor registration number is 13VH01262900.

What are your service hours?Task Man is not an emergency service, but we try our best to schedule your work in a timely fashion -- most of the work we do is booked a few of days in advance. We can often squeeze in jobs on the same day they're booked, however, so it's always worth calling us to check availability at (908) 283-4494.
What's the biggest job you'll do?We offer Monday through Saturday service as well as evening appointments, if those are more convenient for your schedule. There is no extra charge for weekend or evening appointments. Task Man is not an emergency service and does not offer "round the clock" service. Ex: If your house is flooding, call a plumber.
What areas do you cover?The jobs we do generally range from 30 minutes to several hours a day. As a handyman service, our goal is to provide repair/installation work for our clients requesting small tasks around the house -- the type of work that most kitchen and bath remodeling agencies will refuse. Most of our contracts range from around $75 to $500 of service.

Do you have a warranty or guarantee?We currently operate in the Hunterdon, Warren and Somerset counties of New Jersey.
How do I make an appointment with Task Man?Certainly. We stand behind our work. Our warranty on our labor service is for one (1) full year.
What is the Task List Program?We are happy to speak with you by phone. If we are unavailable, please leave a voicemail and we will call you back as soon as possible. You may also send us an e-mail or request a Task Quote online.
Do you have gift certificates?The Task List Program is unique program that allows you to reserve a block of Task Man time on a regular basis. It's just like any other regular service, like lawn care or housecleaning, with a handyman instead. Task List customers pay by the hour, not by the task.
